Completed Project – Tree Seats for Urban Spaces

Project Brief: Tree seat with a integrated planter to cover a tree stump.

The Alderwood Tree Seat is perfect for protecting saplings and small trees in parks and school playgrounds. However our customer required an outdoor seat to cover a stump after the tree unfortunately had to be felled. Our solution; Drop a modified Hive planter into the middle of the Alderwood Tree Seat to makes the perfect wilderness seat combination. Providing a large seat facing out in every direction which encompasses a planter. This setup has the added benefit of raising the planting height allowing unestablished or low level plants to have maximum impact in any space.

This planter and tree seat combination is proof that having a tree is no longer an essential requirement to using our recycled plastic tree seats. The perfect solution when faced with a hard playground or concrete jungle that needs some wilderness added back in.

Both the tree seat and planter are made from 100% recycled plastic with rust proof or stainless steel fittings and are supplied assembled.
