Laser Engraved Remembrance Plaque
We felt honoured when Padiham Cricket Club contacted us to ask if we could redesign and make a remembrance plaque for their new War Memorial.
As part of a renovation project commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Arbories Memorial Sports Ground, the plaque would be placed on a memorial stone honouring the men and women from Padiham who lost their lives in the Second World War.
The laser engraved commemorative plaque was to be one of the largest we had made at 300mm x 400mm. Working with the customer we added text to include the reason for the plaque and from a previous plaque we transposed the names of those lost.
The memorial was officially opened in August 2024, and we are proud to have helped with a small part of Padiham’s community history.
